China National Botanical Garden (CNBG) was approved by the National Council on December 28, 2021. Based on the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Beijing Botanical Garden, it is being developed jointly by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Beijing Municipal Government.
