The Greenhouse is an important place both for plant conservationcultivationpopularization science. It was built from the 1950s, reconstruction in 1965 with changing of its structure from a brick-wood structure to a steel frame structureis used till now. It was the largestmost advanced plant exhibition greenhouse in the country at that time. It was upgradedrebuilt in 2018 with covering area of 2,430 m. There are 9 exhibition halls collecting more than 2,000 species (including cultivar) of tropicalsubtropical plants. The 9 exhibition halls are the Four Seasons Flower Hall, the Trachycarpus fortunei Hall, the Shade Plant Hall, the Gymnospermae Hall, the Fruit Tree Hall, the Succulent Plant Hall, the Aquatic Plant Hall,the Ficus religiosa L. Hall.
